The French Market Inn

The French Market Inn is located within walking distance of Bourbon Street, approximately 13 miles from New Orleans International Airport. Built in the 1800’s for Baron Joseph Xavier de Pontalba, the inn is in the French Quarter, within walking distance of Jackson Square, Royal Street antique shops, Aquarium of the Americas, and Harrah’s.

Voodoo Authentica™ of New Orleans Cultural Center & Collection

A practitioner owned and operated establishment since 1996, is located in the Historic New Orleans French Quarter, on the quiet and picturesque rue Dumaine. They provide a complete line of locally handmade Voodoo Dolls, Gris Gris Bags, Potion Oils; and other unique New Orleans, Haitian & African Spiritual Arts & Crafts.

Tomb of Marie Laveau

The Saint Louis Cemetery is beautiful. It dates to 1789 and is the oldest cemetery still standing in the city. Inside are hundreds of 18th and 19th century above-ground tombs holding the city’s most prominent dead, including Marie Laveau–Voodoo Priestess. Known for their distinctive above-ground burials and particularly lovely monuments, New Orleans’ historic cemeteries are all worth exploring, including the racetrack-shaped Metairie Cemetery and Saint Louis Cemetery #2.
